Cut Paper Birthday Card

2 Jun

I’ve posted this in a couple other places already, so some of you have seen it. This is the birthday card I made for my husband this year, in it’s almost-finished state. It still needed a bit of cleanup and to have the backing attached, but you get the idea.

I think I said it before, but I’ll say it again: this is incredible work.

Wow! Your “scherenschnitte” is amazing, right down to every vessel! Love what you did for the background – I like how your reds and purples come together. Did you take pathology?! Good job with the salt – I have not come close to mastering that. Your hubby received a one in a zillion card! – Sandy

thank you! no pathology here – i was strictly a literature girl. there was too much to remember in those science classes!
